Last Saturday, November 28th, Girls in Tech Macedonia had its first Bootcamp, targeted only at Girls in Tech Ambassadors and aiming to serve as a motivation and resource pool for them. This Bootcamp came out of the need to maintain a closer relationship with the GIT Ambassadors, but even more, to provide directions for creating local programs for Girls in Tech local events and activities in the many towns in Macedonia where we are present with GIT Clubs.
During this Bootcamp, through practical workshops, we exchanged ideas about bringing the community together in support of our main aim – to inspire gender balance in the STEM areas in Macedonia.
We had two main workshops at this Bootcamp: the first one was led by the Managing Board of Girls in Tech Macedonia and was aiming at providing practical advice and coaching regarding the development of event strategies and plans of action. This workshop is supposed to be the stem for the development of a local Girls in Tech program.
Besides this, we had a trainer from DOOR Training Center, who led a game “Mont Everest Expedition”, aiming to boost leadership, communication, planning, teamwork, decision-making, strategy, time management, etc.
Many thanks to our supporter Seavus Incubator for hosting us and showing responsibility and recognizing the need for such activities. Everything starts with a NESCAFÉ and so did our Bootcamp, and we snacked healthily thanks to Vitalia Healthy food. For all these beautiful photos, we thank Stefan Glushica Photography.
